Installation :
————
1) Copy the translation file to the same directory where the main game file resides.
Example: You have a “HurryUp” game installed in “C:\Games\HurryUp”. In this folder you will find the main file of the game called “HurryUp.exe”. (Note: In PCs where extensions are not shown.) known files, this file will only result “HurryUp” of “Type” as “Application”).
In this way, in the “C:\Games\HurryUp” folder there will be both the main file of game that of translation.
2) Unzip the translation file.
3) At the end you can delete the translation file.
4) To verify that the translation has been installed correctly, check that the file is there zzz.rpy in the “game” folder of the game (In our example in “C:\Games\HurryUp\game”) and that there is the “it” folder in “game\tl” (In our example in “C:\Games\HurryUp\game\tl”).

Error Reporting:
—————
If the game has crashes / errors / anomalies, please send me, in private, the log.txt, error.txt and traceback.txt files that are generated in the folder where is the executable file of the game (Note: Not all three of these files are always present) to be able to fix things…
Manual translation activation:
—————————–
In games where the choice of language is initially set, the Italian language activation setting is canceled by this choice. In this type of games, choose a language and, only after this, press the F12 key. If you want to return to the original game language, press ALT-F12 keys.
F.A.Q:

* The menus are in Italian but the dialogues are in English. *
This condition sometimes occurs when using translation in a compressed game. Often, in fact, the compression of the game’s images also involves the modification of the unique keys of the dialogues, making the translation unusable. The menus do not have unique keys and therefore are not subject to this anomaly.
* In dialogues the male and female gender are wrong or reversed. *
English is a language that often brings together genres. The phrase “Are you tired?” can be translated as “Sei stanca?” that “Sei stanco?”. The correct gender attribution occurs only by analyzing the context of the sentence. Automatic translators practically always translate in the masculine. A total manual overhaul, line by line, would be required in order to correct all these errors. This work, both in terms of size and times, is considered too heavy and therefore is not carried out. However, the revision of dialogues through a series of neural network procedures mitigates these errors. It is the only additional work that is put in place and it is the translator’s responsibility to constantly improve these procedures to refine the work more and more.
* The dialogues of some games contain incomprehensible acronyms. *
Unfortunately, some game developers use slang in dialogues. These “cripples” make machine translation difficult and, often, incomprehensible the acronyms that, in the original, should mean something in a contracted form. In one game there was the abbreviation “BBRGeem”. Nobody, and I repeat nobody, of my American friends knows this acronym and, above all, its meaning.
* Translation implants the game *
Before making this statement it is necessary to verify that the game does not settle in the same point WITHOUT the translation. In this case, then, it can depend on a variable contained in the dialogue which, even if it is “screened” by automatic translation, this is modified. A typical variable is the player’s name.
