Life’s Payback – Version 2.4

Hey guys, long time no see, huh?
Prepare yourself because that’s a fat ass changelog.

I’m not going to beat around the bush: I’m working on a second game.
I got bored of Life’s Payback after 90 sex scenes and completely burned out during this last update.

I’m not having fun anymore. I’ve pushed this hentai engine (and myself) to its absolute limit, and right now continuing would just feel like grinding the same mechanics over and over. That wouldn’t be fair to you or to me. The story and characters deserve better than being dragged out when my passion has faded.

I can’t force myself to work more than 3–4 hours a day on it anymore without feeling miserable, so it’s time to step away.

To compensate, I’ve started something completely new that actually excites me again: a bigger challenge, a different tone, fresh mechanics, a new engine approach, and (hopefully) a real step forward for me as a creator.

I’m not abandoning Life’s Payback forever. The game is still there, fully playable, with every scene and update staying available. But active development is on hold. If the spark ever comes back, I might return to it. For now though, I need to work on something that keeps me up late coding because I can’t stop thinking about it.

Thank you for all the support on Life’s Payback, the comments, fan art, encouragement, memes… it meant a lot and carried me through some very long nights.

The new project will use the power of Daz Studio and is still going to be heavy Maledom, with the same other themes you love so much in Life’s payback, hehe.

Expect real gameplay mechanics: combat system (similar to the Lumeria arc), meaningful choices that actually change the game, item crafting, resource gathering, and more.

So, as you can tell, before I eventually come back to Life’s Payback to give it a proper ending, the next content to be delivered is the prologue of my new game.

Since I’ve always failed at giving proper time estimation for the past updates, I will now post weekly/montlhy progress reports on Patreon and Subscribestar.

Lilianne :
– Removed the devil pact from the story. That plot prevented me from progressing her story past the 2B cosplay, so some changes have been made on this matter. When you discover Lilianne at night transforming for the first time, she just put you on the ground and proceed to do the femdom footjob.
No more talk about making a pact. Therefore, the 2B cosplay has been moved to a later part of her story, so it’s not a “reward” for making the pact anymore.

– Fixed a bug preventing you from replaying her final scene
– Fixed a bug making the free roaming music mix with the Halloween music when replaying the Halloween events

Miscellaneous :
– Fixed some typos.

Known Issues:
– As I’m typing, I’ve just realized the final scene of Elise doesn’t have a dialogue, I’ll post a patch within weeks to fix that as well as Olivia’s repeatable scenes
